DAWN DEAN
Booked Solid was founded by Dawn Dean in 2005. Dawn is a Certified QuickBooks User with a diverse background in small business. She and her husband owned a successful retail business in the children’s entertainment industry so she knows first-hand what it takes to run a small business, manage employees, and try to maintain a life balance.
“I remember how frustrated I was during the initial days of running our business. I felt like I needed about 10 of me to go around, and I wasn’t sure if that would even be enough. I wished that I had someone I could call to help me with the bookkeeping even though it was the part of the business I enjoyed the most. I had so many questions that I wanted answered but when I looked at the rates CPAs charged I was discouraged. It was then that I decided I wanted to help others in this situation. After selling our business I founded Booked Solid.”
Dawn received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analysis/Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX.
